It’s officially summertime here in New England and we are busier than ever. What a great time to move when the suns out and weather is beautiful. This month we saw some of our local colleges graduate their aspiring seniors. We not only helped move many college students and families from their homes, but also worked in conjunction with Brown University. At Brown University we moved and stored over 170 dormitory rooms of furniture for remodeling and restorations on campus. Along side Brown, you can also see our brand new trucks on Rhode Island School of Design campus in Providence Rhode Island throughout the year.
In conjunction with United, we at Conlon have many brand new trucks on the road. You can spot us by our Eagle logo, and our brand colors of blue, white, and yellow. We are all around the country in all fifty states. Moving goods from one coast to another all year round.
This past week marked the annual Touch a Truck event in Massachusetts. This allowed children of all ages to be able to experience what it looks like from the inside, and outside all types of trucks and automobiles. It was great to see some of the community come and show some support. Thanks again for everyone who came, and shared a great time at this event! As we start our summer, looking back to see our accomplishments over the past year and decade was something we wanted to do. We at Conlon Moving Systems would like to notice our awards won over the past few years. Over the past 125 years Conlon Moving and Storage has won numerous awards in all different categories. In the past few years alone we have been granted over fifteen national awards in sales, quality, and customer service. Since returning to the company Mike Sherburne has won four consecutive Masters Club outstanding sales achievement awards. In a five-year span Jim Laprey has been granted four executives of the year awards. Our relocation coordinator JoAnne Denham has also received three National Heart of Quality customer service awards.
