Conlon Moving Systems was founded in 1885 as F. E. Conlan Moving & Storage of Pawtucket, RI.  The company's primary function was to transport household goods and pianos.  However, if an item fit on the horse drawn wagon, John Conlan would move it!

Certainly the moving industry has changed since 1885.  Now managed by the fourth generation of the Conlon Family, the company has grown to be the area's largest commercial mover.  The philosophy of the company has not changed since it's inception though:

To provide high quality moving services to individuals and businesses

Conlon Moving Systems has been an agent for United Van Lines since 1984.  This affiliation allowed us to continue to provide excellent local service and personal attention to detail as well as offer the resources of the nations largest van line to our customers.

Our fleet of equipment which includes moving vans, tractor trailer vans and flatbed trailers allows us to move a variety of goods effectively.  Our customers  need to call only one place to handle all of their moving needs.

We maintain over 50,000 square feet of warehouse space to accommodate storage in transit as well as permanent storage, commercial storage and records retention programs.

We look forward to continue to provide the high level of service that our customers have come to expect.
